Dr Donnie Dean shares his thoughts on Cerec – One Visit Crowns – With a love of Cerec, implant, ortho, and rehabilitative Dentistry, I am enjoying a team approach to providing what I consider top level services to our patients whom I consider family. Upon graduating from The University of Texas Health Science Center, I have continued my learning with Pete Dawson, The Pankey Institute, The Scotsdale Center, The Spear Institute, The SYnergy Continuums with Biomet 3i, The International Team for Implantology ITI, Arun Garg implant Continuum, and numerous study clubs that deal with a comprehensive team approach to patient care. I am a mentor at the Scotsdale Center and a Cerec Trainer for Patterson and Sirona. I study the effects of sleep disorders and clenching and grinding and the effects these have on facial changes while aging. I have a team of assistants, hygien
ist, Oral Surgeons, periodontist, orthodontist, endodontist, Dental supply experts, and lab technical experts that I consult with at least weekly to bring about the best answers and solutions for our treatments. I love to see my excellent staff learn and grow in their careers and enjoy assisting apprehensive patients overcome their fears in order to benefit from good health. I have thoroughly enjoyed my career, the support of my wife Margaret, and my two children and encourage anyone interested in a career in Dentistry to go for it. The people I have been fortunate to meet and the ones I have yet to meet make it an excellent life.
Dr Donnie Dean is now a Cerec Mentor teaching and training other dentist and their staff on the uses and applications of the Cerec Dental Products.
